U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles touch down in Bueno Aires ahead of crunch clash against Brazil

Nigeria's Flying Eagles have arrived in the Argentina capital of Buenos Aires ahead of their final group stage encounter against five-time champions Brazil at the ongoing 2023 U-20 FIFA World Cup.

The team touched down in Bueno Aires from Mendoza where they played their first two group games against the Dominican Republic and Italy.

The Flying Eagles came from behind to clinch a 2-1 win over the Dominican Republic in their group opener at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas.

Nigeria produced a more brilliant performance in their second game to beat Italy 2-0 in the same venue to qualify for the knockout phase of the competition.

The Flying Eagles will be gearing up for their final group encounter against Brazil at the Estadio Unico Diego Maradona in La Plata.

Nigeria will finish as Group D winners if they avoid a defeat against the South American giants on Saturday, May 27.
