Newcastle's Eddie Howe shoved by pitch invader in alarming moment vs Leeds; video

A pitch invader decided it was a good idea to tempt fate by confronting Newcastle manager Eddie Howe at Elland Road on Saturday, May 13.

The Magpies, searching for a top four finish, came up against Leeds United in what proved to be an entertaining encounter.

Towards the end of the game, an irate fan somehow evaded stewards as he made his way to the dugout.

A video of the incident shared on social media shows the culprit angrily say something to Howe before shoving the manager.

Stewards immediately intervened and hustled the chap off the stadium, with Newcastle assistant Jason Tindall among those who chased the man away.

Speaking on the incident, Howe said he had never experienced anything like that before.
