Osimhen resumes full training with Napoli

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has returned to full training after spending two weeks on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.

The 24-year-old has missed Napoli's last three games against AC Milan and Lecce in the Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

The Serie A top scorer missed Napoli's 4-0 home defeat to AC Milan in the Serie A, their 2-1 victory over Lecce, and their 1-0 loss to Milan again in the UCL.

After their second defeat to the Rossoneri in the UCL, Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti hinted that the Super Eagles striker will return to action for the return fixture at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Meanwhile, reports emerging from Italy indicate that the Nigerian striker trained with the team on Friday ahead of their Serie A clash against Hellas Verona on Saturday, April 15.

The ex-Lille striker has netted 25 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions for the runaway Serie A leaders this term.

With 16 points ahead of Lazio in second place, Luciano Spalletti's side will need only four wins out of their remaining nine games to officially be crowned champions of Italy.
