'He is the new Fabregas' - Ethan Nwaneri's headteacher

Alexander Tardios, headteacher of Nigerian-born Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri has branded the youngster as the 'new Arsenal and England Fabregas'.

The 15-year-old made history in the Premier League on Sunday, September 18 after his brief cameo against Bretford at the Community Stadium as Arsenal dispatched their PL rivals to reclaim the Premier League top spot.

Despite an impressive performance by the Gunners away from home, the lad who came on in the dying embers of the game became the most talked about after the game.

Nwaneri, who was born to Nigerian parents became the youngest player ever to feature in the English topflight at 15 years and 181 days surpassing Liverpool's Harvey Elliot's record with Fulham in May 2019.

Many pundits, managers, soccer stars, and ex-footballers have praised the qualities of the highly rated young chap who has chartered the path of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe as some of the most successful academy products in recent times.

The latest personality to add his voice to Nwaneri's record-breaking feat is his own headteacher at St John's School, Enfield, Alexander Tardios.

According to the headteacher, Ethen has become Arsenal and England's new Cesc Fabregas.

"He's skilful, powerful, fast and humble. Really, Arsenal have something special. And I will go further: England have something special as he gets older, he told Sky Sports.

"This young man has it. Whatever it is, he has it. When people have the pleasure of watching him play, people will get to see what we see every day. He just has it. I would make a comparison with Cesc Fabregas; I would definitely make a comparison with Jack Wilshere because he's got that skill and that natural ability."

Ethan Nwaneri is eligible to play for Nigeria as per FIFA rules.
