Rivers United signs prolific attacker Barnabas Daniel from Gombe

2021-2022 CAF Champions League Campaigners, Rivers United have completed the signing of striker Barnabas Daniel from Gombe United.

The prolific forward penned one year contract with Rivers United with an option for another year.

Barnabas Daniel caught the attention of Rivers United head coach Stanley Eguma, after scoring 10 goals for Gombe United in the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The former Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, and Crown FC will now compete with Fortune Omoniwari and Sunday Adetunji for a place in the starting eleven next season.

His wealth of experience will be valuable to Rivers United in the domestic campaign and CAF Champions League next season.
