Abdullahi delighted to end campaign with the Super Eagles

Nigerian defender, Shehu Abdullahi said he is excited about wrapping up the 2020-2021 season with the national team.

The player was part of the Super Eagles team that faced Cameroon in the doubleheader in Austria.

The 28-year-old Omonia Nicosia utility player who was involved in both matches played at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt, said he’s delighted to end the season with the national team.

“Long and competitive season, exciting to round it up with the national team. I appreciate your support all season. God bless” Shehu Abdullahi said after the game via his social media handle.

Shehu Abdullahi who came off from the bench for the first game lasted for 90 minutes last night and helped the team keep a clean sheet, Brila.net said.

Super Eagles couldn’t win any of the games, they lost the first game 1-0, before playing out a goalless draw last night.
