Plateau United is one of the teams tipped by the bookmakers to challenge for the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league title, but many have questioned their credentials after poor start to the season.

He said the players remain confident that they can put the poor start behind them and achieve their objectives this season.

“Our targets in the new year still remains the same, despite the fact that we didn’t end 2020 very well.

“The standard here is always high, surely we still want to win league and we are still in the race.

“We have to work harder in 2021 and make sure we achieve this goal, ” He told brila.net.

On their next match against Wikki Tourists on Sunday, the  forward said they are optimistic about their chances of picking at least a point.

“The game against Wikki Tourists is vital and we can’t afford to let points slip away from us again.

“We’ll surely try our best to get a very good result against them,” He concluded.
