Black Stars coach Otto Addo has named his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which kicks off in the next six days.

Among some of the familiar names on the list are captain Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew, Arsenal's Thomas Partey, and Kudus Mohammed of Ajax.

However, Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffery Schlupp and veteran midfielder Mubarak Wakaso didn't make the final cut.

Also, first and second-choice goalkeepers Joojo Wollacott and Richard Ofori together with Mallorca's Baba Iddrisu were omitted from the squad due to injury.

The Black Stars snatched the World Cup ticket from Nigeria via the away goal rule during the playoffs in March.

The Super Eagles failed to beat their rivals at the MKO Abiola Stadium in the second leg after the first leg ended goalless in Kumasi.

Ghana has been crafted into Group H alongside Portugal, Soth Korea, and Uruguay.
