Why Leverkusen is perfect club for me - Boniface

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface believes Bayern Leverkusen is the perfect club for him following his remarkable start to his campaign with the Bundesliga outfit.

The exciting 22-year-old striker has taken the Bundesliga by storm after managing 10 goals and 6 assist since joining the Xabi Alonso tutored side.

Boniface has also won two straight Bundesliga Player of The Month Awards together with the Rookie of the Month Awards.

The Super Eagles striker who completed his €20m to Leverkusen from Union St-Gilloise believes he will excel at his new club.

“Bayer Leverkusen are the perfect club for me because they develop young players like me,” Boniface said.

Boniface has been instrumental to Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run of 15 games (14 wins and a draw) in the current campaign, as per PUNCH.

His goal contribution so far in the Bundesliga has helped Leverkusen gain a total of 21 league points from 10 games.
