Real Madrid player, Vinicius Junior has revealed why he celebrated like Cristiano Ronaldo in his side's win 2-0 against Barcelona in the El Classico match on Sunday.

Sunday night's win marks Zinadine Zidane's first Classico win against defending champions Barcelona.

Both sides played a goalless draw in the first 45 minutes with the Blaugrana emerging the better side with two shots on target.

The second half saw Madrid dominate as they kept pushing for the win which they eventually got through Vinicius Junior (71') and Mariano Diaz (90+2').

Madrid's win over Barca marks an end to a seven-game winless streak in the El Classico.

“He (Cristiano Ronaldo) came into the dressing room at halftime to support the team and give us moral support. That’s why I celebrated like him. He’s a winner in & out of the pitch,” Vinicius was quoted after the match.
