When Osimhen finally met Ronaldo

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen didn't hesitate to pose for a picture with Cristiano Ronaldo on his first meeting with the Portuguese star in 2021.

The upcoming star, Osimhen, also exchanged jerseys with his idol at the end of the game which saw Napoli pip the Old Ladies 1-0 in Serie A at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Osimhen was withdrawn in the 75th minute for Andre Petagna while Ronaldo played for the entirety of the game.

The 24-year-old can be said to have now stepped into the shoes of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in the Italian Serie A.

The Nigerian striker is currently dominating the top scorers' chart in the Italian topflight with 21 goals so far this season.

Osimhen's incredible form has also helped Napoli to open a 19-point gap at the top of the league as Luciano Spalletti's side is on course to end the club's 30-year wait for their first Scudetto title.
