What MohBad said about Ronaldo, Messi, and Neymar before singer passed away

Nigerian singer, MohBad once suggested that he could have benched superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Neymar Junior if he had become a professional footballer.

On September 12, the music world was shocked to learn that the former Marlian Records signee had passed away.

Earlier in the year, Abiola Akinbiyi - a musician better known as Bella Shmurda - revealed that MohBad had attempted to take his own life in the past.

During an interview with media personality, Chude Jidenowo, Akinbiyi said MohBad was disheartened over issues he faced with his record label at the time, Premium Times reports.

The late musician had accused famous singer, Naira Marley of domestic violence and claimed the Soapy crooner had ordered some people to beat him up, per Punch.

At the time, MohBad stated that he had challenged his former label boss on why he decided to employ a different manager to handle his music and business affairs.

Details of MohBad’s death are yet to be ascertained as of the time of publication but the singer once mentioned some football legends in his song titled Ronaldo.

In 2021, the street pop singer released the hit track, which was produced by Niphkeys and served as a follow-up to his previous single Backside.

In the lyrics of the track per AZLyrics, MohBad stated in Pidgin English that he would have started matches ahead of the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, and Neymar all while singing in Pidgin English.
