Brentford Manager Thomas Frank, has heaped praises on Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka and his teammates after historical victory over Arsenal on Friday.

Onyeka played important role in the 2021-2022 Premier League opener as the Bees recorded shocking 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Onyeka lasted for 80 minutes on his Premier League debut, but he already did the damage, before he was replaced by Mads Bidstrup.

Sergi Canos and Christian Noergaard scored both goals to give Brentford their first win in the Premier League in 74-years.

Speaking after the exciting game, Thomas Frank praised his squad and insisted that he want more from them in the course of the season.

“We’re just a bus stop in Hounslow, we’re not supposed to be here. We will celebrate every win, but we want more.

“I think the players today were amazing, they ran themselves to the ground, played with intensity, they were brave and pressed high constantly.

“On set-pieces I thought we were better, that’s why we did long throws and at times we could go high and knew that we could win the ball and create chances,” he said.
