Head Coach of Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro has expressed confidence in his team's ability to beat Guinea-Bissau in their return fixture on Monday, March 27.

Nigeria's hope of securing early qualification for next year's Nations Cup hit a snag following their shocking 1-0 defeat to the Djurtus at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

With their historic win, Baciro Candé’s side leapfrogged the Super Eagles at the top of Group A with 7 points, leaving Nigeria on 6.

Speaking in a post-match presser, the former Sporting Lisbon manager charged his side to beat the Wild Lions of Africa by concentrating on the game.

He also urged the Super Eagles to make good use of their created chances.

“We have the quality to finish better. I can’t speak about the pitch. My players need to concentrate more. We have the quality to beat Guinea tomorrow. I have spoken to the players.

“When I saw the video again, I discovered that we had a very good game, but we lost many scoring chances on Friday.

“We need to repeat the same play for our game tomorrow, and we need to score because it’s not normal to be missing goals, just like it happened in the first game.” Peseiro said.

The game will hold at the Estadio 24 Setembro at 5 pm today.
