Following their 4-1 demolition at the hands of Manchester City, some staunch Arsenal fans couldn't hide their frustration and dismay.

Mikel Arteta's side travelled to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night in the Premier League looking to swing the title race back in their favour following three consecutive draws against Liverpool, West Ham United, and Southampton.

Things got a lot messier as Pep Guardiola's troops fired four goals past the Gunners to stay two points adrift of Arsenal at the top of the PL table with two games in hand.

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and John Stones ensured that Rob Holding's 86th-minute strike only counted for a consolation.

Arsenal are winless in their last 4 Premier League outings which puts the Premier League title holders in a pole position to defend their crown.

Speaking in a post-game reaction with FansTribe, a distraught Gunner lamented the club's persistent failure over the years.

Arsenal last won the Premier League in the 2003/2004 season.
