Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola couldn't hold back his excitement after Julian Alvarez equalized for the Premier League title holders against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager welcomed the goal with a wild celebration in front of Liverpool's Kostas Tsimikas and Arthur Melo who were warming up on the touchline.

The Cityzen thumped the Reds 4-1 to keep their title hopes alive. Goals from Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ikay Gundogan and Jack Grealish ensured that Mo Salah's 17th-minute opener only counted for a consolation.

The victory cuts Arsenal's lead at the top to 5 points ahead of their clash against Leeds United.
