Three countries have secured their place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon were the first team to secure their place in the last eight after beating the Black Queens of Ghana by a lone goal.

Cameroon have so far recorded two wins in two games and sit at the apex of Group D with six points, with a game in hand against Cape Verde still to come.

Also, hosts Morocco cemented their place in the quarters despite being held to a goalless draw against Senegal in Rabat on Monday night.

The Atlas Lionesses secured top spot in Group A with seven points, ahead of Algeria and Kenya.

Algeria, in the same group, have also secured a quarterfinal berth after edging Kenya by two goals to nil.

Algeria finished second in Group A with six points from three games.
