Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has earned recognition from UEFA as one of only four goalkeepers to have scored in the Champions League.

As revealed on UEFA's official website, Enyeama alongside Ivan Provedel, Sinan Bolat, and Hans-Jorg Butt are the exclusive quartet to have achieved this remarkable feat in UEFA's prestigious club competition.

Enyeama's historic moment came when he converted from the penalty spot for Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv during their 3-1 victory over Olympique Lyon on September 9, 2010.

Following his stint in Israel, the former Enyimba shot-stopper continued his illustrious career in Ligue 1, notably with French club Lille.

Hans-Jorg Butt stands out among the group, having converted three penalties for different clubs including Hamburg, Bayer Leverkusen, and Bayern Munich during his playing days.

Sinan Bolat and Ivan Provedel, like Enyeama, each contributed a goal solidifying their places in the history books of the UCL.
