Villa keen on Villarreal's Chukwueze

English Premier League side Aston Villa have expressed interest in Samuel Chukwueze.

According to reports, the Nigerian winger is among three shortlisted players Unai Emery is trying to lure to Villa Park after taking over from Steven Gerard.

Chukwueze, 23, managed 30 goals under the Spanish manager during his two-year stay at Estadio de la Ceramica.

Unai Emery is a big fan of the Super Eagles star, the former Sevilla boss tried to sign Chukwueze after he replaced Arsene Wenger as manager for Arsenal.

Emery won his first game as Villa manager last weekend after beating Manchester United 3-1 in the Premier League.
