Victor Osimhen: Juventus legend offers tips on how to stop Super Eagles star

Victor Osimhen has become a terror for defenders in the Serie A, but Giorgio Chiellini believes the Super Eagles striker can be stopped with the right tactics.

Osimhen raked in a total of 26 goals last season to emerge as the Italian league's top scorer last season and has already netted seven goals this term despite having an injury-ravaged season for Napoli.

According to Tori News, Chiellini, who named Osimhen as one of his toughest opponents during his active days, offered tips to Serie A defenders on how to stop the Super Eagles forward.

"How do you stop Osimhen? You let him take the ball towards you, which isn’t dangerous. Even if he turns, he doesn’t bother me, and when he gets to the area,

I’m on top of him and don’t let him breathe."
Osimhen has established himself as one of Europe's deadliest marksmen, as the Nigerian international has scored a whopping 69 Serie A goals since joining Napoli in 2020.
