Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has showered praises on Carney Chukwuemeka as a talented and dynamic player.

The England U-21 star joined the Blues from Aston Villa last summer in a deal worth £20m.

Speaking ahead of the Blues pre-season friendly against Fulham on Sunday in the United States, the new Chelsea boss who took over from Frank Lampard had some good words to say about the England international of Nigerian descent.

“He’s a player that can play in-between No.10 and No.8.

“He’s a very talented player, very good quality. In our dynamic, he can use different spaces on the pitch,” the former Spurs boss told NBS Sports.

Chukwuemeka has made just 14 appearances since joining the Blues.
