Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze has said that Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has nothing to offer the team stressing that his contract must not be renewed.

Peseiro succeeded Austin Eguavoen who failed to qualify the team to the World Cup in Qatar.

The Portuguese have, however, struggled and that has raised concerns from fans.

His one-year contract has expired and NFF chiefs have not made their decision.

According to the reports on Punch and Footballive, Udeze, who now works as a pundit, explained that the NFF leaders should hire another coach for the Super Eagles.

“I think the NFF should go for a new coach instead of renewing Peseiro’s contract.
“When you come to coach a team like the Eagles and from the first day you are giving us the impression that you will win the Nations Cup and also qualify us for the World Cup, but things are looking different, it seems somehow to me.

“I don’t even think NFF has the money to renew Peseiro’s contract or employ any other foreign coach and that is a big issue.''
