UCL: Zaidu Sanusi scores in Porto's 2-0 win over Leverkusen

Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi was on target as Portuguese champions FC Porto beat German Bundesliga side Bayern 04 Leverkusen 2-0 at the Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday, October 4.

The 25-year-old left-back broke the deadlock in the 69th minute to help his side to record their first win in this season's UCL campaign.

Wenderson Galeno sealed the victory for Porto with his 87th-minute strike.

The Portuguese giants desperately needed a win after losing their first two games to Athletico Madrid and Club Brugge.

The win moves Club Brugge to second place in Group B with a better goal difference.

Surprisingly, Club Brugge sit at the summit of the table with 9 points from 3 games after beating Diego Simeone's Athleti 2-0 in the other group encounter.
