Zaidu Sanusi and his FC Porto side got the better of Raphael Onyedika's Club Brugge after the former thumped the latter by 4-0 last night in the UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese champions bounced back strongly from last Friday's defeat in the Classico to Benfica with a resounding victory to confirm their place in the knockout stages of this year's Champions League.

It was the first-time former Liverpool goalkeeper, Simon Mignolet conceded in the UCL this season after 5 matches.

The Belgium side had already sealed their qualification to the next round of the competition prior to the clash after amassing an astonishing 10 points after 4 games which saw them beat all their Group B counterparts in the first round.

The win also qualifies FC Porto ahead of Spanish giants, Athletico Madrid who have had a disappointing Champions League campaign this season to the shock of many.

Diego Simeone's side played a dramatic 2-2 draw with Bayern Leverkusen in the other Group B encounter after Yannick Carrasco missed a stoppage-time penalty to confirm their relegation to the Europa League.
