UCL: Man City demolish Real Madrid 4-0 to reach final

Premier League title holders Manchester City have thrashed title holders Real Madrid 4-0 in the second leg semi-final of the UEFA Champions League at the Etihad Stadium.

Portuguese star Bernado Silva scored two first-half goals in the 23rd minute and 37th minutes to ensure that Pep Guardiola's side went into the break with a 2-0 lead after a dominant display in the opening 45 minutes.

Manuel Akanji added the third with a quarter of an hour left to play after his header deflected off Eder Militao.

World Cup winner Julian Alvarez came off the bench to add the fourth in the 91st minute after coming for Erling Haaland.

The Cityzens have progressed to the final with a 5-1 win on aggregate.

Pep Guardiola's side will take on Inter Milan in the grand finale in Istanbul on June 10.
