Liverpool will not sack Arne Slot following their 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
According to the UK Metro, the Reds want the Dutchman in place for the start of next season.
In his first season in England after replacing Jurgen Klopp in 2024, Slot led Liverpool to the Premier League title.
However, it has been a dreadful second season for Slot, with the team currently occupying fifth position, one point ahead of Chelsea in sixth.
With the title almost mathematically impossible, Liverpool are also on the brink of exiting the Champions League, as they have to overcome a two-goal deficit against the current holders.
But senior officials are considering keeping him amid strong links to former midfielder, Xabi Alonso.
