UCL: AC Milan defender Simon Kjær dares Osimhen ahead of clash

Ahead of the second leg of the UEFA Champions League clash between Serie A giants Napoli and AC Milan, Denmark defender Simon Kjær has sent a strong signal to Victor Osimhen and the Napoli team.

Osimhen, 24, will return to the starting line-up after missing the first leg at the Guiseppe Maenza San Siro Stadium as the Serie A leaders lost by a lone goal.

The runaway Serie A leaders will need to overturn a 1-0 deficit to keep their UCL title hopes alive.

The return of Osimhen has become the biggest talking point in the build-up to the game as many believe that the Naples-based side lacked the cutting edge due to his absence in the first leg.

Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Milan centre back, Kjær stated emphatically that the Rossoneri defence is well prepared to manage the danger that will be posed by the Super Eagles striker.

“It won’t change much. Osimhen is a player with great qualities, very fast and very physical,” Kjær told Sempremilan.

“He had a fantastic season. We prepared for him, but the basis remains the same: we all defend, we all attack.”

Osimhen has netted 4 goals in the UCL this season.
