Notable clubs among the clubs are Arsenal and Manchester City from the Premier League.
Others include Real Madrid and Barcelona from Spain, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich from Germany, Inter Milan and AC Milan from Italy, PSV and Feyenoord from the Netherlands, and Paris Saint-Germain from France.
The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League will mark the inaugural season under the new 36-team league phase format.
Additionally, two of the four additional spots will be occupied by the European Performance Spots.
