'Typical of Ronaldo himself!' — Marca's commentary on Osimhen's golazo is pure work of art

Victor Osimhen maintained his hot goal-scoring form over the weekend and Marca's commentary on his latest spectacular is pure poetry.

The Napoli frontman's first-half strike will stand tall as one of the goal-of-the-season contenders and the sports news outlet based in the Spanish capital had the perfect words to colour Osimhen's strike.

The 24-year-old controlled a cross on his chest from Georgian international Kvaratskhelia and allowed the ball to settle on his lap before releasing a belter to fire his side into the lead in the 17th minute.

The Super Eagles striker managed to pull this off while being sandwiched by many Roma defenders.

The Madrid-based news outlet combined the talents of three Brazilian greats to do justice to their description of the strike.

Marca wrote: “Osimhen is a buffalo when the spaces are wide and when they aren’t he still reaches the goal with his technique.

“Osimhen lowers the ball onto his chest with the quality of Romario, controls it with his thigh as if he were Ronaldinho, and hits it with a violence typical of Ronaldo himself.”

Stephan El Shaarawy equalized for the I Giallorossi in the last quarter of the game before Giovanni Simeone grabbed the winner for the Parthenopeans in the 86th minute.

Osimhen's goal was his 14th Serie A goal of the season, equalling his personal best record last season.
