Iheanacho's goal keeps Leicester's qualification hopes alive

Fans on Twitter couldn't stop hailing Kelechi Iheanacho's display during Wednesday night's Carabao Cup semifinal, first leg, against Aston Villa that ended in a stalemate.

The Villains were cruising away with a goal lead before the Nigerian was introduced and he got the equaliser 5minutes after coming on.

This meant that Iheanacho has been directly involved in 8 goals in all competition, playing 8 games so far, scoring 6 goals and 2 assists.

His performance and beautiful equaliser didn't go unnoticed as fans on Twitter poured in praises for the Nigerian.

England football legend, Gary Lineker was among those that sang the Nigerian's praise by saying, "About bloody time. Iheanacho is blossoming under Rodgers. Brilliant finish."
