Turkish goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup has been found dead under rubble following the devasting earthquake that hit his native country.
The Yeni Malatyaspor goalkeeper was found dead on Tuesday, February 7 the club confirmed.
The 28-year-old has become the first football casualty following the unfortunate incident which occurred in the early hours of Monday.
The goalkeeper who featured for the Turkish second-division side made two appearances for the club and conceded four goals.
More than 7,800 people have lost their lives following the disaster that struck Southern Turkey and Syria and the death toll continues to rise.
