Transfers: Liverpool want Chukwueze

Premier League giants Liverpool are considering a move for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze according to widespread reports.

Fichajes reports that the Reds have made the 23-year-old their prime transfer target going into 2023.

The Nigerian international could be a potential replacement for Roberto Firmino whose future at the club remains uncertain as his contract expires at the end of this season.

Chukwueze on the other end has just 18 months left on his Villarreal contract and the club may be compelled to cash in on him when a good offer arrives at their table.

The Super Eagles winger has been the subject of many transfer speculations in recent times. Chukwueze has been linked with a move to Arsenal, West Ham United and Aston Villa.

Earlier report indicates that new Villa manager Unai Emery who coached Chukwueze at Villarreal has shortlisted the young winger among his transfer targets.
