Transfers: Leeds United keen on signing Aina

Premier League club Leeds United have expressed interest in landing the signature of Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina from Torino in the Serie A.

The 26-year-old whose contract expires in June of next year will be free to enter into talks with a foreign club in January 2023.

Aina joined Torino from Chelsea in 2018 on an initial loan deal before the Serie A club made the deal permanent following an impressive first season.

Tuttosport (via TMW) reports that the club would love to extend Aina's contract but negotiations between the two parties have stalled.

The Super Eagles fullback will be free to engage Leeds United in talks over a possible transfer if he still desires to return to the English Premier League.

Aina made 37 Premier League appearances with two goals to his credit during his loan spell at Fulham during the 2020/2021 season.
