Transfer: Premier League club move to sign Ndidi

Premier League outfit Everton have expressed keen interest in signing Wilfred Ndidi from Championship-winning team Leicester City.

According to reports, the Toffees have made contact with the Super Eagles midfielder over a possible summer move.

Ndidi, who joined the Foxes from Genk in 2017 have just two months on his deal with the 2016 Premier League champions.

A number of top European clubs have also expressed interest in the Nigerian midfielder including the likes of Juventus and Barcelona.

The 27-year-old has also attracted interest in from other clubs in Turkey and Spain.

Ndidi has been instrumental in Leicester City's promotion back to the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca side clinched the Championship title on Monday, April 29 after recording a 3-0 win away at Preston.
