Transfer: Onuachu to make Genk U-turn

Belgium Jupiler League side KRC Genk have expressed interest in resigning Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu from Southampton, as per reports.

Onuachu, 29, joined the Saints on transfer deadline day in the January transfer window but failed to make an impact.

Despite banging 16 goals in 19 league appearances in the Belgium league, the Super Eagles striker failed to register a goal in 11 appearances in the Premier League for Southampton.

Onuachu only enjoyed 404 minutes of Premier League football as the Saints got relegated at the end of last season.

The lanky Super Eagles striker has also attracted interest from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach and Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
