Transfer: Mauricio Pochettino identifies areas Chelsea need to improve

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that his team need to strengthen in all areas in the remainder of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have offloaded £250 million worth of talent so far in the ongoing transfer window.

The Blues are desperate to trim their squad after spending £600 million in the last two transfer windows.

While Pochettino remains determined to trim his squad even further, the Argentine wants to strengthen the spine of the team.

Asked specifically about strengthening in midfield, Pochettino was quoted by Metro UK as saying: “No, I told you that we need to improve in all the areas.

“I am happy with the midfield but we also need to improve this area.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.
