Bundesliga leaders Bayern Leverkusen may be compelled to sell Victor Boniface in the summer with West Ham United reportedly interested in the services of the Nigerian international.

German outlet Kicker, reports that Leverkusen are willing to offload one of their strikers to fund the transfer of their two summer targets Chris Fuhrich of Stuttgart and rising German star Maximilian Beier from Hoffenheim.

The report further adds that the duo will cost the club a fee around the region of £50m which means the club has to embrace the reality of selling the Nigerian international who has drawn attention from the Hammers.

Boniface, 23, is the club's leading scorer with 16 goals and 8 assists despite spending the last two months on the sidelines.

The Super Eagles striker's remarkable performance has seen his market value rise from €20m to €40 after an impressive debut season with Xabi Alonso's side.

West Ham have reportedly identified Boniface as their primary transfer target in the summer window.

David Moyes wants to bolster his attack ahead of next season by pairing the former Union SG striker with the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus.

According to Sky Germany, Leverkusen will be willing to let go of Boniface if a bid around the region of €55m arrives at their table.
