Transfer: Chelsea devise strategy to beat PSG, Arsenal to Osimhen's signature

Chelsea are reportedly willing to trigger Victor Osimhen's release clause to fend off interest from their Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United and French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues are one of the clubs who are reportedly monitoring Osimhen's situation at Napoli.

The London club wants to persuade the 25-year-old to Stamford Bridge to compliment the effort of Nicholas Jackson whose performance has not been up to scratch.

The Senegalese international has so failed to contribute goals to the Blues attack which has had a significant impact on their season.

Jackson has managed 9 goals in 24 Premier League appearances so far, this season since joining the club from Villarreal last summer.

Caught Offside reports that Chelsea is ready to activate the release clause of the 25-year-old at the end of the season.

The reigning African player of the year has a release clause around the region €120-130 million following his recent contract extension with Napoli.
