Transfer: Chelsea agrees deal with Milan to offload another midfielder from Pochettino's team

Premier League giants Chelsea have agreed to transfer Ruben Loftus-Cheek to AC Milan in a deal worth £18.5m including add-ons.

Loftus-Cheek, 27, will become the third first-team player to leave the club this summer after Ngolo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly secured a move to Saudi Arabia.

The English man has been shortlisted as one of the players who will be exiting Stamford Bridge as Mauricio Pochettino looks to trim down his squad ahead of next season.

The former Fulham man was a prime transfer target for Paolo Maldini as Milan opened talks with Chelsea over a possible transfer back in May before the Rossoneri legend was fired weeks ago.

Loftus-Cheek is said to be very interested in the move as negotiations are progressing steadily.

He made 32 appearances for the Blues across all competitions last season.
