Transfer: Arsenal to announce Chelsea's Kai Havertz as first signing

Arsenal have agreed to personal terms with Chelsea's Kai Havertz over a possible move to the Emirates Stadium next season.

An initial £60m deal plus a potential £5m as add-ons have been agreed by both parties.

The 24-year-old is set to undergo medicals with the official announcement expected in the coming hours.

The German forward cum attacking midfielder is expected to sign a long-term deal with the Gunners.

Havertz joined the Blues from Bayern Leverkusen in the summer of 2020.

He inspired Chelsea to their second UEFA Champions League title in his first season scoring the only goal as the Blues beat Man City 1-O in the final in 2021.
