Transfer: Argentine World Cup winner keen on joining Pochettino at Chelsea

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is reportedly open to a move to Chelsea this summer.

According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old is willing to work with his countryman Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge next season.

The ex-Paris Saint-Germain manager is said to be a big fan of Martinez who he believes suits his style of play.

With the departure of Kai Havertz to Arsenal and Romelu Lukaku likely to join Inter on a permanent basis, Chelsea will need a proven centre-forward going into next season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia leaving the Blues in dire need of an arrowhead.

The Argentine World Cup winner managed 28 goals and 11 assists in 57 games across all competitions last season.

Martinez has three years left on his contract with Inter and has a market value of €85 million.
