Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly has joined Saudi-based Al-Hilal for an undisclosed fee from Chelsea Football Club.
The 32-year-old became the latest Chelsea player to secure a move to the Saudi Professional League after Ngolo Kante completed his move to Al-Ittihad last week.
Koulibaly joined the Blues from Napoli last summer penning a four-year deal with the London club.
The experienced centre back could not live up to the hype after joining Chelsea as he only featured in 32 games across all competitions, scoring 2 goals.
Taking to his Twitter, Koulibaly said: “From my first game to my last, it was an honour to wear this badge,”
“Last season wasn’t the one we wanted, but I want to thank the fans and everyone at the club for your support.”
Koulibaly's team-mate Edouard Mendy is also close to joining Al-Ahli.
