Real Madrid continued their impressive UEFA Champions League start with a victory away at Italian champions Napoli.
The victory again inspired by the La Liga club's new signing Jude Bellingham, saw Carlo Ancelotti's men pull clear of the Neopolitans to claim the outright top spot in their Champions League group.
Amid the flurry of plaudits that have been met to Bellingham, as reported by Goal, veteran midfielder Toni Kroos also made history as he joined Club legends Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, and Karim Benzema among others, in an exclusive club.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner who joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2014, became just the ninth player to feature for the La Liga club 100 times in the UCL, as Real Madrid's official website reported.
While Casillas tops the list with 152 appearances, Kroos could go as far as usurping club Legend Roberto Carlos (109) in any instance Real Madrid goes as far as the quarter-finals in this year's edition of the Champions League.
The German midfielder remains a reference for many of the young talents in Los Blancos' midfield.
Occasionally, football stars, including Bellingham and Manchester United's Casemiro, have been full of high praise for the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
As rumours swirl about Kroos considering retirement from football, Real Madrid fans are eager for the midfield maestro to continue playing for the club beyond the summer of 2024.
Kroos now has a century of UCL games with Real Madrid!
