Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen has opened up on widespread speculations surrounding his future.

The 24-year-old has been on the radar of some elite European clubs following his explosive form for the Naples-based club this season.

The Nigerian international is on course to win the Paolo Rossi Award having netted 18 goals in 19 Serie A appearances for the league leaders.

The Prince of Naples has been hugely linked with a move to Manchester United in the Premier League as the club's marquee signing next summer.

Other top European clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for Osimhen.

Despite remaining focused on helping Napoli win its first Scudetto title since the days of Diego Armando Maradona, Osimhen believes the club will decide his future.

“When you are doing so well, top clubs around the world are watching, mostly in the top five leagues,” Osimhen told ESPN as quoted by The PUNCH.

“And to be able to attract interest from these top clubs shows that I am doing great and it gives me the motivation to do even more for myself and my team.

“But I am focused on Napoli right now and they have the final say. I just want to help my team to win matches and win trophies.

“At the end of the season, we will see what is going to happen, but that is not up to me. It is for the club to decide.”

Osimhen was on target when Napoli edged Frankfurt 2-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 matches on Tuesday, February 21.
