Nigerians on social media have extended their condolences to Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali who recently lost his dad.

The Chippa United shot-stopper announced the demise of his father in a message on his Instagram page on Friday, November 15 after the Super Eagles had secured qualification for the AFCON in Morocco.

Although the goalie did not reveal the cause of the death instead shared a heartfelt tribute with message, “Rest in peace, dad”.

Since the announcement, messages of condolence and support have been flooding in from fans, teammates, and friends, all offering their sympathy during this difficult time.

Nwabali’s fans and well-wishers have expressed their solidarity, with many taking to social media to offer comfort and prayers to the grieving athlete.
