Terem Moffi joins Messi, Neymar in French League September best XI

Lorient striker Terem Moffi has been selected as part of the best French Ligue 1 players in the month of September alongside the Paris Saint Germain duo of Messi and Neymar.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Les Merlus this season.

The Nigerian international has so far managed 6 goals in 8 French Ligue 1 appearances, only PSG's Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe have scored more.

Moffi has scored 2 goals this month with his last coming against Auxerre last weekend.

Lorient currently sits in third place on the French Ligue table behind Champions PSG and Olympic Marseille.

Moffi is currently at the Super Eagles camp in Constantine, Algeria as they prepare ahead of their friendly against the Desert Foxes on September 27.

He has been tipped to lead the Super Eagles attack in the absence of injured Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, Emmanuel Dennis, and captain Ahmed Musa.
