Barcelona captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen has officially completed his loan move to Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The German international will now be teammates with Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, who has also joined Ajax on a season-long loan move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arokodare made a blistering start to life at Ajax after scoring in a pre-season friendly for the club last weekend.

Ter Stegen, on the other hand, is teaming up with Ajax manager Míchel, formerly of Girona in the Spanish La Liga, where he spent the second half of last season on loan.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper joined Barcelona in the summer of 2014 from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The German international made 423 appearances for the Catalan club, winning several honours including La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
