Super Falcons move up in latest FIFA ranking

Nigeria's senior women's team, Super Falcons have moved up in the latest FIFA rankings released on Friday, March 24.

Coach Randy Waldrum's side is now ranked as the 42nd-best team in the world according to the latest rankings published on the FIFA website.

Despite missing out on the last Nations Cup title, the nine-time African champions still remain Africa's number-one team followed by current title holders, Banyana Banyana of South Africa.

Zambia and Morocco, who completes Africa's four representatives at this year's women's World Cup also moved up in the ranking.

Zambia is ranked 73rd in the world as Morocco occupies the 77th position.

The current top ten ranked teams in the world are the USA, Germany, Sweden, England, France, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, Brazil and Australia.
