Super Eagles defender still sidelined as FC Porto gives update

Super Eagles defender, Zaidu Sanusi is still sidelined according to the latest injury update from his club, FC Porto.

Zanusi picked up an injury in Porto’s UEFA Champions League clash against Ukrainian outfit, Shakhtar Donetsk last month.

The injury has led to him being sidelined for the Dragons’ last four games across all competitions.

The 26-year-old is still sidelined, according to information made available on Porto’s official website.

“In the clinical bulletin, Wendell (treatment for inflammation in the left Achilles tendon) and Iván Jaime (treatment for tendonitis in the right adductor) joined Pepe, Iván Marcano, Zaidu, Eustáquio and Gabriel Veron, who also continued undergoing treatment at respective injuries,” reads the statement.

Porto will take on Vilar de Perdizes in a Taca de Portugal third-round clash on Friday (today).
