Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi makes long awaited return from injury

Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi is fit again after spending the last five months on sideline with injury.

Ajayi made his return from injury as he was involved in West Bromixh Albion’s friendly with Elche this Friday afternoon.

The versatile player came in the second half, but couldn’t save his team from losing 1-0 to the Spanish topflight division side.

The Nigeria international last played competitive match against Wigan Athletic on August 30, missing fifteen matches in the process.

Aina’s return is a massive boost for the Baggies and he will be hoping to get back to shape with the Club’s training camp in Spain.

Ajayi could make his first competitive appearance in five months when West Brom travel to Sunderland on December 12.
